Wisdom teeth are your third molars (back teeth) that come through last. They usually appear in your late teens or early 20’s. This is a normal part of mouth development. We usually have four wisdom teeth in total however, in some cases people may have more or fewer.
Wisdom teeth pain is unfortunately a common problem as these teeth don’t always grow smoothly and may push inwards (impaction), creating pressure on the jaw and in some cases can cause other problems such as infections.
Wisdom teeth problems are very treatable. If you are experiencing any discomfort or pain please organise an
emergency appointment with our highly skilled
dentist in fairfield so they can assess and discuss the best course of action.
